Animal Handler Eligibility Requirements:

• A respect and appreciation for pets
• Ability to learn about various dog breeds, understand their unique characteristics and needs
• Ability to prepare and deliver dog and cat food per the owners instructions
• Ability to medicate an animal per the owners instructions (training will be provided)
• Ability and willingness to clean and maintain the animal suites in an exemplary manner every day
• Ability to interact with dogs of all sizes, up to 10 per handler at any given time
• Ability and willingness to spend half the working hours outside (indoor play rooms will be used on rainy days)
• Socially oriented and enjoys working with people
• Ability and willingness to tactfully handle customer complaints, questions and concerns
• Good personal hygiene and appropriate dress
• Pleasant personality capable of working in a team environment
• No medical or physical conditions which would prevent the successful completion of position duties
