Jessica Hammerman, Office Manager: “I've been with PPI for nine years and learned so much throughout my exciting career in pet care. My favorite aspects of my job as the Office Manager are managing our dynamic Wait List, preparing for all the details of holiday preparations when we are at extended maximum capacity, quality control, staff training coordination, and loving your pets. It's been the most rewarding for me to see my team exceed expectations by delivering a quality of customer service to our clients and their pets that is truly special and unique to our business.”
Jessie Hickerson, Pet Services Manager, Fear Free Certified: “My position as Pet Services Manager includes staff scheduling, creating and maintaining procedures and protocols, staff training, managing playgroups, supporting staff in their career paths, assisting clients with pet needs, and prioritizing pet and staff safety. I have been working at Pampered Pets Inn for over 11 years, in addition to volunteering and working at other pet facilities prior. During my time here, I played a key role in creating procedures, training manuals, safety protocols, and methods to support the development of our senior employees. Recently certified in Fear Free practices, I focus on effective communication between humans and pets, enhancing our lodging and daycare services.”
Megan Staub, RVT, CCPDT-KA, Pet Services Manager: “I am responsible for the care, comfort, and safety of the pets entrusted to the Inn, whether for the day or an extended stay. This means taking the time to get to know each pet that walks through our door. I enjoy learning about their unique personalities and customizing their stay to meet their needs. I pride myself on continuing my education and learning new things about dog behavior, fear-free handling, dog training, bathing/grooming, and other areas within the pet care industry that can help me be the best I can be for your pets. During my six and a half years at PPI, I have learned many subtle nuances of dog language and behaviors. I can use this information to nurture better relationships between humans and their canine companions.”
